The Iowa STEM Scale-Up Program was launched as a way to meet the Governor's STEM Advisory Council's top priority: Increasing student interest and achievement in STEM across the state.
With the top priority of boosting student interest and achievement in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), the Governor's STEM Advisory Council has approved 10 high-quality STEM education programs for 2019-20. The selected STEM Scale-Up Programs are listed in the right column.
Schools (public and nonpublic), after-school programs and other active learning communities serving students in grades preK through 12 can apply for these STEM Scale-Up Programs.
The application is now closed. Awarded educators will begin training July 1 followed by program implementation. The application will open again in January 2020.
