Did you know there is going to be a total eclipse of the Sun on August 21, 2017? Depending on where you are in Iowa, you’ll see anywhere from 86% to 100% of the Sun eclipsed by the Moon!

Join astronomer Dr. Malynda Chizek Frouard for an exciting professional development opportunity for teachers.

Iowa's students will not be back in school before the eclipse occurs. Educate your students about it before they leave for the summer so they are knowledge about what will be happening in August.
