The goal of the Northeast Iowa Youth Institute is to expose high school students to hunger-fighting career paths in STEM. We do this by collaborating with local partners to build innovative regional institutes where students can learn, grow, and network with peers and experts who are working in scientific fields such as nutrition, environmental science, and animal health; addressing food security at the state, national, and international level.
